A personal note from BSN to all viewers...

Dear all,
We are aware of some of the negative comments on our posts over the last few days.
Most of it surrounds fans being disappointed that the Premiership Play-Offs are not included in our Season Passes.
We’d like to address this from the heart because we have always prided ourselves on the fact that we are fans of the sport and want to offer the best possible value to all fans.
Just to clarify: British Speedway had been seeking a TV partner to broadcast the Premiership Play-Offs throughout the 2026 season.
This is something BSN were fully supportive of as we understand the potential benefits of having British Speedway’s flagship events on mainstream TV.
We hope this is evident through our help with the British Final ITV4 television broadcast in which we were heavily involved in on a voluntary basis.
Although we understand the frustration of some fans, we have always been transparent with what we are selling through our Season Pass packages.
All social media and email advertisements detailed what our subscription packages included and these specifics are also presented at the point of sale.
If we’d had the rights to broadcast the Premiership Play-Offs at the start of the season we would have offered them in Season Passes at an increased price like we do the Championship, but we could not offer something we did not have the rights to sell.
On February 25, 2026 we released our Season Passes prices. This is what was stated on the post (which is still there now): “BSN’s Premiership Season Pass is priced at £119.99 and includes access to 18 streams across the season including both legs of the Premiership KO Cup Final.
“BSN’s Championship Season Pass is priced at £169.99 and includes 30 streams, featuring two streams from each track, as well as coverage of the KO Cup Finals, BSN Series Finals, Play-Off Finals and the British Under-21 Final.”
We have never previously covered the Premiership Play-Offs because this was broadcast by TNT Sports.
Hence the reason why our Premiership Season Pass was £50 cheaper than the Championship Season Pass that did include the Play-Offs.
The agreement for BSN to stream the Premiership Play-Offs was only confirmed and released on September 4, 2026.
The Premiership Play-Off Pass, for all six meetings, was priced at £59.99 with a £10 loyalty discount for current Season Pass holders.
Therefore that came in at the same price as the original Championship Season Pass which did include the Play-Offs.
We’ve always been honest and up front with our fans and consumers.
It is our belief that £10 per Premiership Play-Off meeting (or £8.30 with the loyalty discount) is good value.
We hope that by posting this information, it clears up any confusion.
We’ve always been very clear in what the Season Passes include, not in small print, always in the clear wording.
It’s excellent that we can now provide the Premiership Play-Offs at the same price as the Championship Play-Offs, despite the Premiership being costlier for us to cover.
Thanks again for watching.
Ben and Martin.
